Your job

As Data Steward within the Customer Data Product Team of ABF you can make the difference in data management by using your analytical and project management skills and your knowledge of the financial sector; to guarantee high data quality for our customer data and related processes. You support the business as data owner with a focus on your own data sets and products. To ensure how the data flows, what the quality of the data is and what the consuming needs are.  You work in a highly driven and enthusiastic team and have a tight connection with the data consumers (both within ABN AMRO bank and ABF) and the data providers (business and IT).  

• You will analyse issues and gaps raised by data users and determine data quality requirements, which are in line with regulations or internal standards.  
• You make sure that data quality issues will be addressed by the right solution parties, that the concrete tasks to resolve an issue will be placed on the backlog of that party and you can monitor and track the progress of an issue  
• You will conduct data analyses and validate data for existing, new, or migrating sources of information in our data environment.  
• You will work together with data providers and data consumers to advise on which data to use to fulfil their requirements/data needs.
• You will be taking care of the Data Product administration in the Data Marketplace wrt registration, DSA management, use case management
• You are pro-active looking for co-operation with stakeholders within Business, IT, Risk and Finance and the multiple change programs
• You will identify opportunities for process improvement, and for the development, optimization and adaptation of systems, procedures and controls.

Your profile

• Bachelor/master's degree in economics, business, finance, or data. 
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• We look for experience in ABN AMRO's data management processes (Data Marketplace) and data governance
• Working experience or familiarity with project management and Agile
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills  and experienced in data management and data analyses   
• Can work in a fast-changing environment and have a proactive attitude
